What Limen is

Limen is an AI skin analysis and recommendation service for cosmetic purposes. We take a photo of your face, run it through vision models, and return a structured cosmetic skin assessment plus recommended skincare products.

What Limen is NOT

Limen is not medical advice. We do not diagnose, treat, or cure any disease or condition. We are not a substitute for a consultation with a board-certified dermatologist. If you have any concern about a spot, lesion, rash, or persistent irritation that feels wrong, please see a dermatologist.

We have safety rails in the product that try to catch things that look concerning (asymmetric moles, ulcerated lesions, severe cystic acne, etc.) and redirect you to a dermatologist referral screen. These rails are best-effort, not perfect. Your judgment and a real doctor override anything Limen says.

Product recommendations

When we recommend a skincare product, we are often using an affiliate link. If you buy through that link, we may earn a small commission. This does not cost you anything extra and does not change the price you pay. It is how we plan to sustain Limen without charging you a subscription fee during closed beta.

We do not accept payment from brands to prefer their products in recommendations. The ranking is done by the model based on your analysis, full stop. No brand has any ability to influence it. If we ever change that, we will tell you in advance and give you the option to stop using Limen first.

Your account

You must be 13 or older to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure. You are responsible for everything done through your account.

You can delete your account at any time from the account settings page. Deletion is permanent and removes all your data from our database within 7 days.

Acceptable use

Don't upload photos of anyone who hasn't consented to be analyzed. Don't try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service. Don't use Limen to build a competing service. Don't submit content that is illegal, harmful, or infringes someone else's rights.

Limitation of liability

Limen is provided "as is." We are a small team building in public. The analysis is a cosmetic reading, not a medical assessment. You agree that we are not liable for decisions you make based on the output. Check with a dermatologist for anything you're unsure about.

Changes

We will update these terms as Limen evolves. Material changes will be emailed to signed-in users in advance.
